A PERC Card, or Permanent Employee Registration Card, is very first thing, which you must require for getting a Security Guard Job in the state of Illinois.

Actually, PERC is a card which shows employers in the State of Illinois that you’ve passed certain criminal background checks via a fingerprint application procedure. It should be noted that you’ll not be in a position to apply for a security guard position unless you obtain PERC card. However, please be aware that when you receive your PERC Card, it doesn’t assure that you’ll be appointed – it merely enables you to find a suitable security guard job in the state of Illinois.

IMPORTANT: If you possess a valid Illinois detective, security contractor, alarm contractor, or locksmith license, then a PERC is not required to work for a licensed agency.
